Desired:
Pro­vides guid­ance, feed­back, coach­ing and devel­op­men­tal expe­ri­ence to the devel­op­ment staff. Man­ages the col­lab­o­ra­tive efforts of the devel­op­ment team on co-development efforts with teams in the US . Col­lab­o­rates with appro­pri­ate JDA resources to include COE and regional based CSS teams on cus­tomer issues and time­lines to ensure timely deliv­ery of bug fixes and main­te­nance releases, ser­vice packs, and GA releases as required.
Expe­ri­ence man­ag­ing a diverse devel­op­ment team charged with the BR IBE and devel­op­ment func­tion for com­plex retail solu­tions. Expe­ri­ence with AS400 devel­op­ment to include famil­iar­ity with RPG pred­i­cated appli­ca­tions. Expe­ri­ence with Oracle/Uniface based client/server appli­ca­tions rely­ing heav­ily on PL/SQL, trig­gers, pack­ages, pro­ce­dures, and dynamic SQL
A min­i­mum of two years man­ag­ing soft­ware devel­op­ers. Expe­ri­ence work­ing in a matrixed orga­ni­za­tion with the IBE and devel­op­ment func­tion geo­graph­i­cally dis­persed. Expe­ri­ence work­ing with a fully mature cus­tomer sup­port orga­ni­za­tion charged with sup­port­ing World 1000 cus­tomers across mul­ti­ple time zones. Famil­iar with Agile devel­op­ment methodologies.
