Desired:
Pro­vides ongo­ing Siebel appli­ca­tion sup­port and main­te­nance of all the Siebel envi­ron­ments, includ­ing appli­ca­tion mon­i­tor­ing, issue res­o­lu­tion, and work­ing with the appro­pri­ate tech­ni­cal sup­port staff (inter­nal and ven­dor).
Pri­mar­ily sup­ports the pro­duc­tion Siebel envi­ron­ment, but assists as needed with the devel­op­ment; test; and con­ver­sion envi­ron­ments.
Assists in release and migra­tion plan­ning.
Plays a role in the cre­ation of new tech­ni­cal envi­ron­ments and estab­lish­ing appro­pri­ate stan­dards and strate­gies for these envi­ron­ments.
Par­tic­i­pates in appli­ca­tion release process.
Man­ages Siebel servers mon­i­tor­ing the logs and sta­tis­tics reports; updat­ing the server soft­ware as appro­pri­ate, pro­vid­ing backup and dis­as­ter recov­ery, and trou­bleshoot­ing hard­ware and soft­ware prob­lems in order to pro­vide a reli­able Siebel envi­ron­ment for end users.
Inter­acts with the ACS Help Desk, the Net­work Oper­a­tions Cen­ter, LAN/WAN engi­neers, and other staff to pro­vide sec­ond and third level support.
