Desired:
1) Instal­la­tion and con­fig­u­ra­tion of Peo­ple­Soft data­base, appli­ca­tion and web servers on UNIX and Win­dows envi­ron­ments.
2) Man­age Peo­ple­Soft envi­ron­ments and develop appro­pri­ate strate­gies (such as: instance, backup/recovery, secu­rity, etc.)
3) Under­stand Peo­ple­Soft archi­tec­ture and tech­nol­ogy stack. Famil­iar­ity with multi-tiered topol­ogy using SSL and load-balancing is a def­i­nite ben­e­fit. Must be able to man­age rela­tion­ship with client archi­tects
4) Apply patches and com­mu­ni­cate with project team
5) Famil­iar with Peo­ple­Soft instance cloning tech­niques.
6) Offer sug­ges­tions to improve per­for­mance of data­base or servers
7) Pro­vide best prac­tices in the area of Peo­ple­Soft Sys­tem Admin­is­tra­tion Under­stand Unix and Win­dows O/S and how they need to be con­fig­ured to sup­port a Peo­ple­Soft data­base, appli­ca­tion, and web server
9) Expe­ri­ence with Ora­cle RMAN, Enter­prise Man­ager, 10G Data­base and devel­op­ment tools such as TOAD will be con­sid­ered
10) High avail­abil­ity expe­ri­ence with RAC, Dis­as­ter Recov­ery, Stor­age Man­age­ment is an asset
