The Sr Web­Sphere Administrator/Architect per­form­s­the instal­la­tion, con­fig­u­ra­tion, and day-to-day tasks asso­ci­ated with ensur­ing thes­mooth and effi­cient oper­a­tion of a Web­Sphere run­time envi­ron­ment. This­in­cludes prod­uct instal­la­tion, con­fig­u­ra­tion and deploy­ment of J2EE appli­ca­tions, con­nect­ingto back-end resources, per­for­mance tun­ing, automa­tion, and trou­bleshoot­ing. Addi­tion­ally, thisin­di­vid­ual will assist in the devel­op­ment of detailed archi­tec­tural design­sand roadmaps for cur­rent and future Web­Sphere infra­struc­tures. This indi­vid­ual isex­pected to be self-sufficient and able to per­form most ofthe tasks involved in the role with lim­ited assis­tance frompeers, prod­uct doc­u­men­ta­tion, and ven­dor sup­port services.
