Job Descrip­tion : The respon­si­bil­i­ties of this posi­tion are focused on core soft­ware devel­op­ment tasks of the PTCU LMS appli­ca­tion. This posi­tion involves work­ing as part of PTCU Prod­uct Devel­op­ment Team in Pune and closely with the Prod­uct Man­age­ment and devel­op­ment teams in the US and to build effec­tive and robust soft­ware prod­ucts.
For this posi­tion can­di­date should have expe­ri­ence in all aspects of the soft­ware devel­op­ment life­cy­cle from design to imple­men­ta­tion, main­te­nance, doc­u­men­ta­tion and deliv­ery. As part of the core soft­ware devel­op­ment team you will be a key con­trib­u­tor to devel­op­ment activ­i­ties includ­ing hands-on object– ori­ented design, pro­gram­ming, and qual­ity test­ing of the entire prod­uct. This involves an under­stand­ing of state-of-the-art soft­ware devel­op­ment tools on Win­dows and UNIX plat­forms, as well as work­ing with an extended team to design high-level archi­tec­tures and cre­ate exe­cu­tion plans.

Research new tech­nolo­gies and then evan­ge­lize the appli­ca­tion of appro­pri­ate tech­nolo­gies in the product
