Expe­ri­ence :2 — 7 Years 

Respon­si­bil­ity : Design and write tech­ni­cal cer­ti­fi­ca­tion exam ques­tions based on Ora­cle DBA tasks includ­ing basic admin­is­tra­tion, backup, recov­ery and per­for­mance tun­ing. Val­i­date exam sce­nar­ios against the data­base product(s). Par­tic­i­pate in team tech­ni­cal reviews.

Qual­i­fi­ca­tions : Strong sub­ject mat­ter exper­tise in Oracle9i
Cer­ti­fied as Oracle9i/10g DBA Cer­ti­fied Pro­fes­sional
Work­ing knowl­edge of Linux oper­at­ing sys­tem
Abil­ity to install and con­fig­ure Oracle9i and Oracle10g server soft­ware
Abil­ity to con­struct sim­u­lated backup, recov­ery, and restore oper­a­tions within an Oracle9i data­base envi­ron­ment
Abil­ity to con­struct sim­u­lated per­for­mance man­age­ment oper­a­tions within an Oracle9i data­base envi­ron­ment
Excel­lent oral and writ­ten com­mu­ni­ca­tion skills
Abil­ity to write on tech­ni­cal sub­jects with clar­ity and pre­ci­sion
Excel­lent atten­tion to detail
Expe­ri­ence as an Ora­cle instruc­tor, Ora­cle sup­port spe­cial­ist, or Ora­cle con­sul­tant is pre­ferred
Enjoys col­lab­o­rat­ing as part of a team, and will demon­strate ini­tia­tive and task own­er­ship
