Essen­tial Respon­si­bil­i­ties: Per­form Finite Ele­ment Stress analy­sis to sup­port the conceptual/preliminary/detailed design of sys­tems and sub-systems of power gen­er­a­tion equip­ments like Gas Turbines/Steam Turbine/Generators/Wind Tur­bines or Jet Engines
Par­tic­i­pate and present reviews to Chief Engi­neers to sub­stan­ti­ate ana­lyt­i­cal results for val­i­dat­ing design
Pro­vide ana­lyt­i­cal and design sup­port for field/production/supply chain issues related to engi­neer­ing.
Doc­u­ment analy­sis and design activ­i­ties in design record book
Devel­op­ment of geo­met­ric mod­els in UG (both 2D & 3D)
Mesh­ing and analy­sis in ANSYS
Val­i­date the results using hand calculations/similar models.

Qualifications/Requirements: B.Tech / M. Tech (Mechan­i­cal / Machine Design / Struc­tural / Aero­space) design & analy­sis expe­ri­ence in Gas Turbine/ Wind Turbine/ Automotive/ Steam Turbine/ Rotary Com­pres­sors, Rec­i­p­ro­cat­ing Com­pres­sor, Pip­ing and Plant acces­sories domain/ Nuclear or Power gen­er­a­tion equip­ment indus­tries with empha­sis on medium and large struc­ture finite ele­ment stress analy­sis (Lin­ear & Non-linear analy­sis) using ANSYS and UG for mod­el­ing with rel­e­vant expe­ri­ence of 1 to 15 years (posi­tions open across levels)
