Tech­ni­cal Sup­port Engi­neers     
Can­di­dates Pro­file:  Some­one who is a self-starter with the abil­ity to work on their own and take ini­tia­tive, has good inter­per­sonal and organ­i­sa­tional skills, is com­fort­able in a team envi­ron­ment, is assertive and self moti­vated, excel­lent diag­nos­tic and prob­lem solv­ing skills, can man­age mul­ti­ple, simul­ta­ne­ous tasks, has excel­lent research and analy­sis skills and can quickly grasp new con­cepts, the abil­ity to work to tight dead­lines and to work with other mem­bers of the same team and with var­i­ous departments.

Role:  Trouble-shooting and repli­cat­ing com­plex cus­tomer issues and man­ag­ing them through the fault res­o­lu­tion process.
Main­tain­ing call logs and works activ­ity report­ing.
Liai­son with cus­tomers, sales, prod­uct man­age­ment, engi­neer­ing teams and with other Crit­i­cal Path sup­port centre.

Require­ments (Essen­tial): Expe­ri­ence in one or more of Perl, C or UNIX shell script­ing
Degree/Diploma Engineering/Computer Sci­ence Dis­ci­pline
Sys­tem level expe­ri­ence with, Win­dows 2000 and/or Win­dows XP as well as UNIX (one or more of Solaris, HP-UX or Linux)
Data­base knowl­edge (ORACLE, RDBMS)
Good Com­mu­ni­ca­tion skills
Will­ing to work in Shifts
