job Descrip­tion: Pro­vide first level online tech­ni­cal sup­port to inter­nal cus­tomers across the Global Ser­vice Centres

Abil­ity to com­pre­hend tech­nol­ogy related issues and assess the
same

Main­tain accu­racy in cap­tur­ing all rel­e­vant infor­ma­tion required for investigation/ diag­no­sis of the problem

Log tick­ets on the Online Helpdesk and allo­cate to the appro­pri­ate team

Co-ordinate with Sys­tems Admin­is­tra­tors / Telecom­mu­ni­ca­tions across the GSCs to ensure seam­less func­tion­ing of the Business

Esca­late issues to the tech­ni­cal teams in the UK, UAE, Hong
Kong and US

Liaise with the remote Tech­ni­cal teams and also the local IT

Sup­port and ensure timely resolution

Iden­tify recur­ring tech­nol­ogy related issues and work towards an early resolution

Respond to User queries via mail/ telephone

Take own­er­ship of prob­lems and ensure that they are resolved to the customer’s satisfaction

Desired Can­di­date Pro­file: Excel­lent ver­bal and writ­ten Com­mu­ni­ca­tion skills

Good Tele­phone manners

Knowl­edge in Oper­at­ing Sys­tems and Net­work­ing con­cepts
Sound knowl­edge of MS office

Abil­ity to adapt to change, learn quickly and trans­fer
knowl­edge appropriately

Flex­i­bil­ity to work shifts

Abil­ity to build rap­port with, and relate to a wide range of people
