job Description: Provide first level online technical support to internal customers across the Global Service Centres
Ability to comprehend technology related issues and assess the
same
Maintain accuracy in capturing all relevant information required for investigation/ diagnosis of the problem
Log tickets on the Online Helpdesk and allocate to the appropriate team
Co-ordinate with Systems Administrators / Telecommunications across the GSCs to ensure seamless functioning of the Business
Escalate issues to the technical teams in the UK, UAE, Hong
Kong and US
Liaise with the remote Technical teams and also the local IT
Support and ensure timely resolution
Identify recurring technology related issues and work towards an early resolution
Respond to User queries via mail/ telephone
Take ownership of problems and ensure that they are resolved to the customer’s satisfaction
Desired Candidate Profile: Excellent verbal and written Communication skills
Good Telephone manners
Knowledge in Operating Systems and Networking concepts
Sound knowledge of MS office
Ability to adapt to change, learn quickly and transfer
knowledge appropriately
Flexibility to work shifts
Ability to build rapport with, and relate to a wide range of people
Self driven and Customer focused
Previous experience in Customer service or Call Centre
environment
Graduate BE/ Btech/ BSc comp/MCA/Diploma in Computers/ Electronics
