Data and Appli­cant Executive 

Job Descrip­tion:  Key rep­re­sen­ta­tive, rais­ing the pro­file of the Reuters Sup­port Cen­tre with cus­tomers, and main­tain­ing active con­tact and com­mu­ni­ca­tion with customers.

Respon­si­ble for the pro­vi­sion of data and func­tion­al­ity sup­port and assis­tance over the tele­phone and other elec­tronic medi­ums, in a prompt, effi­cient, and pro­fes­sional man­ner and through this, con­tribut­ing to a steady improve­ment in cus­tomer satisfaction.

Ensure that you main­tain ade­quate prod­uct, mar­ket and call han­dling exper­tise to per­form your job effi­ciently, includ­ing the cor­rect call log­ging, admin­is­tra­tive and pro­ce­dural prac­tices required.

Proac­tively sup­port col­leagues and share infor­ma­tion enthu­si­as­ti­cally, pro­mot­ing an open and com­mit­ted approach to knowl­edge devel­op­ment and team co-operation, build­ing on best prac­tice and help­ing facil­i­tate improve­ment in the centre.

Sup­port and actively seek involve­ment in launches of new prod­ucts and ser­vices as directed.

Esca­late sig­nif­i­cant events to man­age­ment, account teams and other oper­a­tional departments.

Accept tak­ing on project or addi­tional areas of respon­si­bil­ity which will assist per­sonal devel­op­ment and team effectiveness.

Main­tain rela­tion­ships with other Reuters Sup­port Cen­tres and resolver groups around the organisation.

Men­tor to new staff by assist­ing in train­ing and devel­op­ment on an as needs basis

Desired Pro­file : Expe­ri­ence with Reuters prod­ucts and data or pre­vi­ous expe­ri­ence in the finan­cial markets

Strong inter­per­sonal skills, and abil­ity to project ser­vice and
pos­i­tive atti­tude over elec­tronic medi­ums, expe­ri­enced in deal­ing with cus­tomers a dis­tinct advantage

Pos­i­tive in out­look, a can-do atti­tude, and open communicator
