Des­ig­na­tion: Appli­ca­tion Developer

Job Descrip­tion:
Intel’s Sup­ply Net­work Capa­bil­ity — GAR Sup­ply and Demand Infor­ma­tion Solu­tions is look­ing for an Appli­ca­tion Devel­oper for the WFDS project team. In this posi­tion, your respon­si­bil­i­ties will include but not be lim­ited to:
- Assist­ing the archi­tect and tech­ni­cal lead in defin­ing the high level design, includ­ing the data model
- Review­ing the high level design and pro­vid­ing feed­back to the archi­tect and tech­ni­cal lead
- Par­tic­i­pat­ing in high level design reviews
- Cre­at­ing low level design for com­po­nent deliv­er­ables, using estab­lished design stan­dards and processes
- Imple­ment­ing the designs using estab­lished code stan­dards and processes
- Per­form­ing unit test­ing and cre­at­ing unit test reports

Desired Pro­file:
You should pos­sess at least Bachelor’s degree in Com­puter Sci­ence or related fields.
Addi­tional qual­i­fi­ca­tions include:
- Strong under­stand­ing of sys­tem analy­sis and design, soft­ware devel­op­ment life cycle, object-oriented pro­gram­ming, Web appli­ca­tions devel­op­ment, data ware­hous­ing and data­base pro­gram­ming
- Strong soft­ware devel­op­ment expe­ri­ence with Ter­a­data* ETL pro­gram­ming, Ter­a­data* Mas­ter Data Man­age­ment, Java* and XML
- Good writ­ten, ver­bal com­mu­ni­ca­tion skills, team­work, and problem-solving skills
- Abil­ity to work in a team, strong inter­per­sonal skills, able to oper­ate in a mul­ti­task­ing envi­ron­ment with inter­rupts and pri­or­ity changes
- Strong ana­lytic skills, self dri­ven, keen to learn and adopt new tech­nolo­gies and processes
- Soft­ware devel­op­ment expe­ri­ence with Capa­bil­ity Matu­rity Model Inte­gra­tion (CMMi) or Lean Six Sigma would be an added advan­tage
- Ter­a­data* cer­ti­fi­ca­tion would be an added advantage
