Need expe­ri­ence in GUI/Swing type (Thick Client) devel­op­ment rather than web/JSP type devel­op­ment
Devel­op­ment life­cy­cle: Been involved in new devel­op­ment rather than pure maintenance/enhancements
Expe­ri­ence with sta­tic code analy­sis tools
Hands on with tools – Eclipse, CVS, Ant, Junit
Process aware­ness – espe­cially with regard to cod­ing stan­dards, com­ment­ing style, abil­ity to write mean­ing­ful com­ments while check­ing in code to CVS etc.
Object Ori­ented Analy­sis and Design (OOAD)
Abstract classes/interfaces, Use in ear­lier projects
Expe­ri­ence with pro­duc­ing UML out­put, e.g. class and sequence dia­grams – Expe­ri­ence in using mod­el­ling tools like Ratio­nal suite of prod­ucts or oth­ers
Expo­sure to Design Pat­terns
Win­dows install shield requirement

Expe­ri­ence: 3 — 7 years

Skills:
Min­i­mum 3 years on Install­shield.
3 + Years of expe­ri­ence pack­ag­ing using Install­shield
Strong Win­dows Installer knowl­edge
Strong VB Script­ing Skills
Strong win­dows NT-2003 Server Knowl­edge
Strong win­dows NT-XP work­sta­tion knowl­edge
Strong his­tory of appli­ca­tion pack­ag­ing
Can­di­dates should be hav­ing expe­ri­ence pack­ag­ing and re-packaging
Can­di­dates with WISE in Install­shield would be rejected.
